DESERT TOUR 3 DAY

Day 1: Marrakech to Zagora

Morning:

Depart from Marrakech: Start your journey early in the morning. You’ll be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech for the drive to the Sahara Desert.

High Atlas Mountains: As you leave Marrakech, you’ll pass through the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with stops for photos and refreshments.

Lunch:

Lunch En Route: Stop for lunch at a local restaurant along the way.

Afternoon:

Ait Ben Haddou: Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, a historic Kasbah that has been featured in numerous films and TV shows. Explore the old town and learn about its history.

Ouarzazate: Continue to Ouarzazate, a city known as the “Hollywood of Morocco” due to its film studios and desert landscapes.

Drâa Valley: Drive through the beautiful Drâa Valley, known for its palm groves, kasbahs, and traditional villages.

Evening:

Arrival in Zagora: Arrive in Zagora, where you’ll have dinner and spend the night in a desert camp or a local guesthouse.

Day 2: Zagora to Merzouga

Morning:

Breakfast: Enjoy breakfast in Zagora.

Desert Adventure: Depart from Zagora to the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga. You can choose to ride a camel into the desert, a unique and memorable experience.

Lunch:

Lunch in the Desert: Have a picnic lunch in the desert or at a local guesthouse, depending on your chosen tour.

Afternoon:

Exploring the Sahara: Spend the afternoon exploring the Sahara Desert. Climb the dunes, take in the stunning landscapes, and perhaps try sandboarding.

Evening:

Day 3: Merzouga to Marrakech

Morning:

Sunrise in the Desert: Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes. This is a truly magical experience.

Breakfast in the Desert: Enjoy breakfast at the desert camp.

Camel Ride Back: Ride camels back to the village of Merzouga and freshen up.

Lunch:

Lunch in Rissani: Stop for lunch in the town of Rissani, the starting point of the ancient caravan routes.

Afternoon:

Drive Back to Marrakech: Begin your journey back to Marrakech, passing through various landscapes and Berber villages.

Evening:
